This ad showcases the latest kitchen designs from Wickes.
I wanted to move away from the average kitchen TVC and make it feel like a useable space. This involved choreographing the talent to be in the right part of the shot, at the right time. Adding a blur technique to show a 'normal' busy household whilst not getting in the way of the kitchen features, stopped it feeling like a TV Studio kitchen. It had a lot of cut-through with the audience.
We stretched the budget and filmed an evening version of the ad too - with a beautiful dark grey kitchen, evening lighting and different props.
